Rajini Celebrate his Birthday at Hydrabad
12th of December is the birthday of Rajini. He completes 55 this year. Rajini will go out of station to celebrate his birthday usually. This is to avoid his fan crowd that may converge at his residence every year.
This year he is going to celebrate his birthday at Hydrabad. Chandramuki shooting is the start from 9th of this month. Rajini, Jyothika, Nayanthara, Prabhu and others are going to go to Hyderabad for this purpose. There, duets of Rajini, Nayanthara and Prabhu Jyothika is going to be shot.
So Rajini is going to celebrate his birthday with Chandramuki team. After long time he is celebrating his birthday in an shooting spot. Producers Ramkumar and Prabhu are thinking of springing very big surprise to celebrate the occasion.
What about his fans?
As usual a statement will be released by Rajini or in the name of Rajini by his shadow Sathyanarayana saying, "Fans are requested not to come to Rajini's home, because he will be out
Chandramukhi’s title song recorded
Chandramukhi’s title song was recorded by Vidyasagar. PaaVijay writes the lyrics.
The song has no punches or politically loaded lyrics.
The song is more on the lines on the Oruvan Muthali song in Muthu. More of philosophy than punches. Vairamuthu this time seems to have been sidelined. Rajnikant was present during the composition. SPB has sung the song
Mandira wants an Extraa Innings
She looks fresh and flexible like wheat dough.
Her buxom presence in Manmathan has left youths salivating in cinema halls.
And they may have get to see her if Mandira's desires are fulfilled.
She says she has always admired Tamil films, and now, after the experience of Manmathan, she wants to do it several times over.
"Be it a brief role, I always listen to the entire script before I sign up. For Manmathan, the director sent me the entire script and convinced me about with the story line. It was only after that I accepted to be part of the movie", says Manthira Bedi.
"Even if I play a small role in a movie, the movie should succeed. I acted in a small role along side Shahrukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhaniya... and it succeeded. I cherish success a lot", she says.
"Silambarasan is a good actor with excellent knowledge of cinema. I would act in Tamil movies in future if I get good scripts."

She is going to be the hottest thing after the release of her debut film 'Kaadhal Arangam' and she has no illusions about what sells in the film industry. Meet Shirley, the film's heroine.
The film 'Kaadhal Arangam' is attracting lot of attention for its controversial scenes and excess of glamour. "If you want to survive in the film industry, you should be willing to play glamorous roles. I'm under compulsion to make it big in the industry. So, I'm ready to do anything to become successful here. But, please don't make it think that my character is loose," Shirley said.
"Acting is different and life is different. I know how to protect myself," she issued a subtle warning.
The Bollywood flop 'Girlfriend' is going to be remade in Tamil and Shirley is going to play the lead role in the film.
Prashanth wants to do it alone
Prashanth is a romantic hero in Kollywood who had acted with top heroines including Aishwarya Rai and a half-a-dozen others from Bollywood.
His chocolate-box hero image always demands a glamorous heroine.
So for him to do a film sans a heroine, there must be a compelling and convincing reason.
And he says there is one for Adaikalam in which he is a heroine-less hero.
The film's script is just too good, he says. "It is all about brother-sister relationship," he adds. Uma,of Kadal Pookal fame, plays his sister.
He says the story is touching and inspirational that his father, Thiagarajan, who had decided not to act with him anymore, was forced to reconsider his decision.
"My father and I had a heavy heart after listening to the story," he says.
So Prashanth's solo flight is expecting a safe landing.

But at the same time, of even a smile is a crime of that should hurt somebody. New title for New man's film
After his controversial debut as actor in New, S J Suryah began his next movie titled BF.
The title generated lot of controversy and saw protests from women's organizations for its alleged obscenity.
The actor-director has now changed the title as Anbulla Nanbare. It stars Meena as the heroine.
Sources say this movie too has hot scenes that are sure to catch the attention of the censor board.
Vijay in Cheran's movie
Vijay is one actor whose films will guarantee the return of invested money to the producers. There is debate going on the Kollywood about the next film of Vijay after the film 'Sachin'.
Super good film Chowdri had given may Vijay hits like, 'Poove Unnakkaka', 'Love today', 'Thullatha Manamum Thullum'. But when he is dire state Vijay come forward to help him out by giving his dates for the film 'Thiruppachi' produced by Chowdri.

SRK to speak Tamil
MShahrukh Khan's forthcoming release in Hindi Swades, directed by Lagaan fame Ashutosh Gowraker, is gearing up for a Tamil release.
Titled Desam the dubbed version would be released later this December.
Music is by A R Rehman. Interestingly, Shahrukh has dubbed in Tamil for the movie.
Shahrukh's last Tamil dubbing was for Uyirae directed by Manirathinam.
The '(Wet) Dream' girl of Balu Mahendra
In the film where the story takes center space, the additional attraction is a glamour song. It takes too to make dream song. Hero danush is ready, his 'wet' dream glamour doll was not to be found so easily. Because the director Balu Mahendra's tastes are bit different us his camera work. The girl should be 'Slim and Simple'. So the search began.
The Balu Mahendra's first choice was Ria sen. But she was busy in Bollywood. Then Rangeela Urmila was considered. She was also busy. This was followed by, 'Katpane' Isha Gopikar, 'Chellamay' Reema Sen, 'Murder' Mallika Sherawath, 'Girl friend' Amritha Arora.. But nobody was able to accept because of their prior commitment. So they could not give their call sheet.
Then the producer came with the name of Malavika. But again Balumahendra shot down that suggestion, because she is too rounded to suit the taste of the director.
The only Teja sri hit the Jackpot.
She had already given her CD to Balumahendra asking for a chance. Balumahendra happened to see the CD, and then he zeroed in on Teja Sri. Because she just fitted the description of director's dream girl.
This Danush-Teja pairs song in 'Adhu Oru Kanakkalam' will beat the 'Moondrampirai' song 'Ponmeni Uruguthey'.

Madhavan in Revathy's film
Following the success of her Hindi movie Phir Milenge, actress turned director Revathy is all set to begin her next venture.
According to sources it would be a bi-lingual movie (in Hindi and Tamil) which would star Madhavan and Bollywood star Shilpa Shety in the lead roles.
Rajinikanth offends his director
Did Tamil superstar Rajinikanth offend his long term friend and director KS Ravikumar by unceremoniously dumping him for another director?
After coming up with hit projects like 'Muthu' and 'Padaiappa', Rajini and KS Ravikumar had planned to make another film named 'Jakkubhai'. Just when his fans were getting comfortable with the name and were wondering what the story was going to be like, he announced that he is not going to do the film and instead announced 'Chandramukhi'.
"Rajini and I were working on 'Jakkubhai'. The first half of the film had come out very well. But, when we were discussing the second half, we realized that it wouldn't be nice to try out to same old formula. We were wondering how to end the story differently. That was when he was very impressed by P Vasu's story," director KS Ravikumar said.
"I sure am upset that I lost the film. But he is more upset than I am. He told me that he wouldn't feel better until I sign up another film. Fact is- these days, I'm the one who is consoling him. I have now signed up a film with Ajith. I'm going to release the new film on the same day that Rajini releases his 'Chandramukhi'," he said.
