Story, Director Finalized for Rajini's next film
All the Magazines and Dailies are searching with microscope and find something about the film 'Chandramuki' to write about. But we have real scoop about the next venture of Rajini after 'Chandramuki'.
After the film 'Baba' there has been very long gap and it ended in 'Chandramuki'. But now the question is after 'Chandramuki' what? But we come to know now about the next film of Rajini.
This matter itself is kept secret like that of Alibaba's caves. But we had opened that cave and got the secret out of it.
Chandramuki's shooting will come to an end within next few weeks. After that, the postproduction work will begin. The film will be released on April 14th . After the release date, Rajini is going to take rest for 10 days. Then he is going to plunge into the next venture.
The lucky one who is going to direct the film is Raja. He is the one who had directed the hit movies 'Jeyam' and'Kumaran S/o. Mahalakshmi'. Rajini is very much impressed by these films. So he had decided to act in his direction. Raja didn't reveal this happy news to anybody so far.

Surya to act with Aamir Khan?
Surya has established a place for himself in Kollywood, thanks to the variety of roles that he had done in every film of his. The likes of Nandha, Khaakha Khaakha, Peralagan and the under production Mayavi have portrayed Surya as an actor with
difference.
A happy and enthusiastic Surya says, "I want to be remembered by people in years to come as an actor who can perform any role with ease. Even today movies like Kattabomman stay fresh in our mind. I want my roles to be remembered in such a way. Hence, I am choosy about my movies."
Meanwhile, there are reports Surya is being talked about for a role with Aamir Khan in Hindi.
Surya confirms this but says things are still at a very early state of negotiation. "I don't want to miss out on the opportunity," he hastens to add.
However, Aamir khan now is busy with his The Rising that needs time to be completed.
Till then, Surya's attention have to be on Mayavi and Gajini only.
Pooja Toils hard for 'Thambi
Pooja is said to be working hard for 'Thambi'
If anybody try to understand this statement based on the literal meaning of the word 'Thambi' (In Tamil) please change your opinion. This 'Thambi' is the name of the film in which Pooja acts.
This film is produced by CT Productions and directed by Seeman. Madhavan is the hero of this film. Pooja is the lead pair. In this film there is a scene in which Pooja is to act in a Bharathanatyam dance sequence. This scene is rather lengthy in the film.
Pooja knows next to nothing about Bharathanatyam. So the director suggested that she just follow the instructions of Dance master and that was enough.
But Pooja would have none of it. She doesn't want to do something new, which she knows to nothing about. So she started learning the classical Dance. The same dance Master, who is teaching Bharathanatyam to Uma, is also teaching Pooja. She is practicing the said dance regularly.
It is indeed a good policy to indulge anything only after knowing about it. But it is for her own good she takes a 'LIC Mediclaim Policy', which would be help full if she should break her limbs in the process of learning the Classical Dance
Ram release delayed
Like Ajith's Ji Jeeva's Ram too is witnessing troubles and awaits its release.
The movie expected for release for Pongal was postponed and slated for release on Republic Day.
Unfortunately, the news is that Ram will grace the theatres only on Valentines Day.
Vijay’s spat with scribe
Flush with the success of Thirupachi, Vijay met the scribe from a Tamil weekly. Vijay was asked about his loaded dialogues in films against Ajit which he denied. When the scribe quoted the dialogues the actor got angry and threatened the scribe. He then cooled down and answered questions in one word. After that when the scribe asked him why he was imitating Rajni, Vijay got up and went inside. Waiting for some time the scribe left . He printed what had transpired and an embrassed Vijay called up the scribe and apologised.
Grand Light Music Program with 100 Singers
Lakshman Sruthi Music Troupe has created a record of sorts by conducting 14 hours non-stop music program with 100 singers. Famous Play back Singers, Music composers, music artistes, folk songs singers took part in this musical extravaganza.
Recently, the coastal areas of Tamilnadu was affected by, Tsunami waves. Following this, many a volunteer organizations are raising relief funds for the affected people. Lakshman Sruthi Music Troupe has joined in this noble cause, by conducting a mega music program to raise funds. The program had started yesterday morning 9.00.A.m- and continued up to 11.00.P.M night. In this feat, more than 100 singers have participated.
Some of the play back singers who had participated in this 14 hour long program include, T.M.Soundarajan, S.P.Balasubramaniyam, Unni Krishnan, Suresh Petters, Mano, Unni manon, Devan, Deepan Chakravarthy, A.V.Ramanan, P.B.Srinivas. The female playback singers have also rendered their voice for the cause. They include, L.R.Eeswary, Anupama, Minmini, Harini, Devi, Bhavadarni, ‘Pop’ Shalini, Anuradha Sriram, M.L.Rajesravi, Magathi, S.Rajeswary, Kalpana Ragavendra, Madhumitha, SriLekha, ‘Manahanadhi’ Shobana.
The Music directors who had participated in this are Bharadwaj, Aadhithyan, Gangai Amaran, Dhina, A.R.Rehana, The folk songs singers ‘Pushpavanam’ Kuppusamy , Anitha Kuppusamy, ‘Paravai’ Muniyamma, ‘Theni’ Kujaramma have also participated. Carnatic Classical Singers T.V.Gopalakrishnan, S.Ramani, ‘Bombay’ Sisters, ‘Ragam’ sisters, Rajesh Vaidya have also participated in this. Selvi Upasana, who had danced standing on top a pot have attracted everybody by her skillful performance. Many people have given donations liberally to their favorite singers. The Lakshman Sruthi Troupe, on their part has given Rs.25, 000 on behalf of the Troupe. The collected funds will be given to the Chief Minister Public Relief fund.
Justice S.K.Krishnan had presented shawls to the members of the Lakshman Sruthi Troupe as a token of appreciation per having conducted this Musical feat for a noble cause.
Sneha comes to her brother’s rescue
Sneha came to the rescue of her unemployed and divorced brother in Chennai recently by setting up a business for him.
Sneha’s elder brother was married initially to dance choreographer Kala. It was Kala who used her influence to get Sneha her initial offers in films. But, the marriage failed and the couple filed for divorce. Kala has now remarried.
Unfortunately Sneha’s brother ended up jobless and homeless. She has decided to construct a dubbing-rerecording studio for her brother in Chennai. Sneha is busy with the preparations.

Marriage bells in March for Yuvan
Yuvan Shankar Raja who had helped the hearts of lovers to blossom through his hit number ‘Kanakanum Kalangal’ is going to get married with his long time lover.
Sujaya, the daughter of London Doctor Velayudham Chandran & Sarojini, and Yuvan Shankar Raja has been in love with each other for quite some time. Yuvan Shankar Raja, used to fly over London once in a while to meet his lady love.
There marriage is now fixed on March 20th of this year. This marriage will be held at Mayor Ramanathan Mandapam in MRC Nagar Chennai. Betrothal will be held a day before, on 19th .
Arrangements are also being made in London to hold similar marriage reception like in Chennai.

Danush’s dream fumbles
Danush had become slightly nervous ever since his father’s film ‘Dream’s crashed at the box office. But, the performance of his recent film has worsened his nightmare.
Danush is still not quiet out of his honeymoon days with wife Aishwarya, who also happens to be the daughter of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth. After his marriage, industry observers were more than just keen to see if his illustrious father-in-law would come forward and help him. But, the father-in-law himself is working desperately to keep his reputation at the box office intact.
Things aren’t well with Danush either. Almost all his recent films have flopped miserably. The latest one on the list is ‘Devathaiyai Kandaen’, which was under production for a long time.
And we thought marriage has a bad effect only on heroines’ careers!

Cheran hits a roadblock
With director-actor Cheran taking a big gap after his Autograph to roll out his next, producer Krishnakanth of Indian Theatres, who was tipped to work with Cheran for his next film, has reportedly backed out.
Krishnakanth's long-pending film Manmathan was released for Deepavali and did a good business at the box office.
Meanwhile, his Solli Adippen starring Vivek as hero is nearing completion and another to be directed by Stanley will go to floors soon.
Soon after Autograph's huge success, Krishnakanth had approached Cheran for a movie and thus began Cheran's Touring Talkies.
Unfortunately, since a few months, the project has been lying only on paper without taking off.
According to sources, Krishnakanth was unhappy with this development and reportedly opted out of the project.
So what does he want to now? Krishnakanth is planning to produce a movie starring Dhanush.
Cheran's plans are still not known.
The 'new found' love of Music Director
The young and upcoming music director of the film 'Kadhal' is affected by, the love bug. Though he is already married, he had eloped with his newfound lover.
Joshua Sridhar is the one who had scored the music for the film 'Kadhal'. The songs of that film have become a hit. He had become famous. Now again he is the news for wrong reasons.
The music director is a married man and has two kids. But he has been in love with the young women, who is a keyboard player in his own troupe. Her name is Natasha. She is from Bangalore.
Both, the music director and the keyboard player have been in love with each other for quite some time. Which resulted in this.
The lovers didn't tell anybody anything about their love and their plan to get married. They had just disappeared. The mother of Natasha had lodged a complaint with Bangalore police about her absconding daughter. The police of both the states (Tamilnadu & Karnataka) have thrown a net to fish out the lovers.
