Jai Akash and Boys Manikandan are paired opposite Simran. Rajagopalan says to MohanKumars.com “This is a triangular love story based on a true life incident. Even though Kicha’s name appears in the title he is the villain in the movie”. When Rajagopalan said that the role required few glamourous scenes Simran was ready to show glamour without exposing her famous midriff because she is expecting a baby in a few months time. Wonder how Simran sans glamour will be accepted by her fans.

Madhavan on Tamil heroines
Madhavan is back in Chennai after a long shooting stint in London and USA for Ramji Londonwallah and Nothing but life. Back home a relaxed Madhavan in a chat with a vernacular magazine says “I am not comfortable acting with girls who don’t know Tamil. How can I emote with somebody who does not know what she’s speaking?” He goes on to add that in Bollywood all the heroines know Hindi and this helps them perform better.
Madhavan does not understand why the directors and producers in Kollywood prefer non Tamil speaking heroines. He wonders whether the directors don’t have confidence in Tamil girls or there are no good looking Tamil speaking girls at all.
